Pole Lathe Wood Turning
Date: Sunday 23rd Feb
Time: 10am
Venue: Newham Grange Leisure Farm
An excellent session with a former member or our Friends team.
With wood recently fallen in Fairy Dell Park, we were shown the natural splitting point of a log through to the end production of some very acceptable items.
Throughout the sessions the tutors gave a commentary on how the skills we were learning would have been known to “Bodgers” in medieval times.
