We’re proud to be one of Skipton Building Society’s Grassroots Giving
Winners, recognised for supporting our local community.
The guided Wild Flower Walks were very popular. The aim was to both teach recognition of the many wild flowers in Fairy Dell and also to encourage healthy lifestyles and relaxation. These were also led by Martin Allen
They took place on Saturday, 2nd May; Wednesday 13 May; Thursday 11th June; Sunday 11th October.
Different days of the week were deliberately chosen to give more people a chance to participate. October was chosen for the contrasting autumnal colours. We were fortunate that the weather was good for each walk.
